Children's Day 2020!

ඔක්තෝබර් පළමුවැනිදා ශ්‍රී ලංකාව ළමා දිනය සමරනු ඇත. එය විවිධ රටවල විවිධ දිනවල සමරනු ලැබේ. ‘ජාත්‍යන්තර ළමා දිනය’ ජුනි 1 වනදාත්, ‘විශ්ව ළමා දිනය’ නොවැම්බර් 20 වන දිනත් සමරනු ලැබේ. ළමා දිනය ප්‍රථම වරට සමරනු ලැබුවේ 1856 ජුනි මාසයේ දෙවන ඉරිදා පූජ්‍ය චාල්ස් ලෙනාඩ් විසිනි. සුභ ළමා දිනයක් වේවා!

On October first Sri Lanka will celebrate Childeren’s Day. It is celebrated on different days in various countries. ‘International Children’s Day’ is celebrated on June 1 and ‘Universal Chidren’s Day' on November 20. Children’s Day was first celebrated on the second Sunday in June in 1856 by Rev. Charles Leonard. Happy Children's Day!
